Rahul Gandhi launched his Vote Adhikar Yatra in Sasaram, alleging that the Election Commission and BJP are colluding to steal votes using the SIR electoral roll system. Natasha Malpani, formerly of Kae Capital, has launched Boundless Ventures, a Rs 200 crore fund for early-stage AI startups in India. Malpani says India has the talent to build global AI companies. Indian generative AI startups raised $524 million in the first seven months of 2025.

Pravin Sharma founded Getepay in 2016 to provide an easy-to-use payment platform to merchants, especially SMEs, with digital tools to manage their business. Initially, the goal was to digitise payments for underserved merchants, but it evolved into a full-stack business platform offering tools like billing, invoicing, customer engagement, credit access, and marketing. Getepay has onboarded over 1 million merchants, with 70% from tier II, III towns, and rural markets.
